The funny thing about wartime American President FDR was that, despite there being only the tiniest difference between their acronyms... he was absolutely rubbish at DDR.
By which, er, I mean Dance Dance Revolution, not the Deutsche Demokratische Republik. He was probably really quite good at the latter. |

I think that I still have some of your stuff in the attic. Whilst I'm not moving house anytime soon, it'd be good to know what will need to be done with it (and we're having an attic clean out soon) - I think it's cds, a game cube, a few books.
Oh dear, and you have to remind me of this a week or two after I leave London for Canada again...
I'm unlikely to be passing through again until well into 2008, and I can't think of anything else sensible to do with them except maybe post them care of my mother in Wales. But that sounds like a lot of work, and if you decided to "lose" them, car-boot-sale them or donate them to a charity shop instead, I don't expect I'd be that angry or anything.
Yeah, I should've thought of it sooner. I'll see whether I can leave them with someone more likely to see you sooner, I'll let you know whatever I come up with anyhow.
You see I immediately thought "Double Data Rate", as in DDR SDRAM.
He was probably really quite good at the latter.
Maybe not so much so, as it didn't come into existence until some years after his death...
In all fairness they didn't really invent Dance Dance Revolution until a bit later either. And, I assume, DDR SDRAM. But I still say we can hypothesise which he would have been best and worst at. | |
